Beroun is located on the borders of the Bohemian Karst and Křivoklátsko. It was probably founded in the Middle Ages, and till today you can see the winding streets in the historic center. Every year, the square hosts the popular Pottery Markets, which continue the long-standing tradition of pottery production. The city is also known for its bear enclosure, where the bears from Czech children TV series Vojta, Kuba and Matěj found a home. In Beroun, you can visit the Museum of Bohemian Karst, the Museum of Beroun Ceramics or perhaps the water park.
