Český Ples (Czech Ball)
When: 1st of February
Where: Municipal House, Republic Square 5, Prague 1
Start February enjoying the atmosphere of the most famous Czech ball. Taking place at the impressive Municipal House, this noble event gathers outstanding Czech personalities and celebrities, artists and a marvelous ball.

Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK: Absolute Tribute to Beethoven
When: 5th & 6th of February 2020

Beethven would be turning 250 years in 2020. Despite being an imposible date to achieve, there are not that many names in history that are known to all after two and a half centuries. Hence, these two evenings wil lbe fully dedicated to the composer.

Valentine’s Day in Prague

St Matthew’s Fair
When: 22nd of February – 13th of April
Opening hours: 10:00 – 22:00
Where: Prague Holesovice Exhibition Centre
A very traditional fair for the family, bringing 120 attractions and rides for the young and adults. The oldest reference to the St Matthew’s fair dates back to the 16th century and it is the most popular fair in the Czech Republic.

Masopust Festival 2020
When: 25th of February
Where: Streets of Prague
The Czech version of carnival and Mardi Grass, the Masopust festival dates back to the 13th century and it means “Meat fast” celebrating the end of the winter, the fertility of spring and to bring happiness.
People dressed on costumes will be drinking, eating and dancing. There is an annual parade, but the locations are still to be confirmed.
