With the temperature starting to drop fast and daylight becoming a more eventful sight, October sees Prague’s best colours and inviting beer gardens and tea or coffee shops for a warm beverage watching the sunshine.
Prague’s colours are however in its peak, the golden maple trees and shinning red as well as the brown and yellow of local plants. Parks are a perfect place to enjoy a sunny afternoon and take your autumn photos to post on Instagram.

TAKE LANDSCAPE PHOTOS
There is nothing more beautiful in Prague than walking in a park in October. The gold, yellow, brown and orange colours are all at full intensity and display. Take your camera and take the best Autumn photos for your social media account. Going up the Petřín Hill or Letná Park will also add some great landscape photos of Prague to your collection).

STRINGS OF AUTUMN
The traditional festival reaches its 23rd edition. One of Czech’s major music festivals, Strings of Autumn, is characterized by its wide-ranging and eclectic programming illuminates the relationships between genres ranging from early and contemporary classical to jazz, hip-hop, and electronica.
In 2019, approximated 10 concerts inspired by contemporary classical music, hip-hop, jazz and electronic music will take place.

SIGNAL FESTIVAL
Over the four evenings of the festival, prominent figures in lighting design from the Czech Republic and abroad will change the streets and public spaces of Prague, both its most famous historical landmarks and less well-known nooks and crannies, into objects d’art and spaces that use unconventional forms to capture the varied sides of contemporary and historical Prague.

DESIGNBLOK
Designblok is one of the largest annual design events in the Czech Republic. Taking place each October, the festival brings together the best design and fashion talents for four days of exhibitions and shows.
